GENERAL

WHAT IS CYCOLOGIE? +

Cycologie is a contemporary cycling studio designed to #moveyourmind through rhythm, darkness & full-body fire.

We guide you through a 45-minute candle-lit class with state-of-the-art sound, to get you to discover a strength you never knew you had.

WHO CAN RIDE AT CYCOLOGIE? +

Anyone 16 years of age or older is welcome to ride.

Riders under 18 require a parent or guardian to sign a liability waiver in person at the studio.

ARE ALL CLASSES THE SAME LEVEL? +

Yes and no! At Cycologie, there are no numbers, no metrics on your bike. We work in different levels of effort, and our instructors have gone through extensive training to coach you on what these levels should feel like, rather than what they should look like.

That said, every instructor brings their own flair to the method, so we encourage you to check them out!

FIRST TIME

DO I NEED TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT? +

Yes, an account is required to purchase credits, book a bike, and sign our waiver. You can create one easily on our website or app.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING? +

Bring a water bottle (we have filtered water refill stations) and comfortable athletic wear.

Shoes are provided free of charge, but you may bring your own SPD compatible shoes.

HOW EARLY SHOULD I ARRIVE? +

First-time riders must arrive at least 15 minutes before the class start time so our staff can assist with bike setup and studio orientation.

CREDITS

HOW DO I BUY CREDITS? +

Credits can be purchased online via our website or app, or in-person at the studio front desk.

DO CREDITS EXPIRE? +

Yes, all credit packages have an expiration date, typically 3 to 12 months, depending on the package size. Check the package details at the time of purchase.

ARE CREDITS TRANSFERABLE? +

No, individual credits are non-transferable and can only be used by the account holder.

DO YOU OFFER REFUNDS? +

All sales are final. We do not offer refunds on credit packages, memberships, or retail purchases.

MEMBERSHIPS

DO YOU OFFER UNLIMITED MEMBERSHIPS? +

Yes, our Transform Monthly Membership offers unlimited rides per month, subject to a daily ride limit.

DO YOU OFFER LIMITED-CLASS MEMBERSHIPS? +

We offer 4x, 8x, and 12x monthly packages for those who ride less frequently.

CAN I FREEZE MY MEMBERSHIP? +

If requested at least 3 days in advance, we can freeze, pause, or hold your membership. Holds must be for a minimum of seven days, and up to a maximum of three months (90 days).

We are only able to freeze or hold a membership once every three months. All freeze requests must be made in writing, including start and end date, and be received at least 3 days prior to the desired start date.

HOW DO I CANCEL? +

All memberships have a two-month (60 days) minimum commitment. After this initial period, you may terminate the auto-renewal at any time.

To cancel the auto-renewal, please notify us via email at least 7 days before the current billing cycle expires. Please include the reason for your cancellation.

CANCELLATIONS & LATE ARRIVALS

WHAT IS YOUR LATE ARRIVAL POLICY? +

Due to the low-light environment and to minimize disruption to fellow riders, we maintain a strict no-late-entry rule. If you are not inside the spin room when the class is scheduled to begin, unfortunately, you will not be admitted.

If you wish to cancel a class, you must do so at least 12 hours in advance or your class credit will be forfeited. Please review our cancellation and same-day standby policy in the event you are unable to make your scheduled class.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY? +

To avoid losing your session credit, please cancel your reserved class up to 12 hours before the start time. If cancellation occurs with less than 12 hours notice, the credit from your package will be lost, or a $20 penalty fee will be charged if you hold a Transform Membership.

We do not process email cancellations. Please manage your reservations directly through your account on our website or mobile app.

If you late-cancel and want to attend later the same day, please refer to our Same-Day Standby Policy below.

WHAT IS THE SAME-DAY STANDBY POLICY? +

Lost your reservation due to traffic or parking? The Standby Policy is here to help! If you have a late cancellation, you may arrive on standby for any other class scheduled that same day, and the spot is yours if available.

Please note: Standby spots cannot be pre-reserved, and we cannot guarantee availability. Standby is only available for reservations made directly through Cycologie. Guests who purchase a reservation receive priority over standby guests.

Transform Members are not eligible for same-day standby.

CAN I SWAP CLASSES WITHIN THE CANCELLATION WINDOW? +

Changing your class reservation within the 12-hour cancellation period is considered a late cancellation. If you need to switch your reservation inside the 12-hour window, please refer to our Same-Day Standby Policy.

HOW DO I CANCEL MY CLASS? +

To cancel a class reservation, please log into your account, navigate to View Reservations, click on the class you need to cancel, and select Cancel Reservation.

WAITLIST

WHAT IS THE WAITLIST AND HOW DOES THE WAITLIST WORK? +

If a class is fully booked, we highly recommend securing a position on the waitlist. To join the list, you must use a class credit or membership session; this credit will be automatically refunded if you are not moved into the class. Should a space become available more than one hour before the class begins, you will be automatically enrolled and receive an email notification.

Please note: the standard 12-hour cancellation policy remains in effect, even if you are added from the waitlist with less than 12 hours notice. If you fail to attend the class or remove your name in time, you will forfeit the class credit or be charged a penalty fee if you have a Transform Membership.

If you no longer wish to attend the class, you must remove yourself from the waitlist at least one hour prior to the start time to receive your credit back. The waitlist system deactivates (locks) at the one-hour mark, and any remaining open spots are then available to walk-ins on a first-come, first-served basis.

STUDIO POLICIES

STUDIO ETIQUETTE +
  1. Check-In: Please check in at the front desk immediately upon arrival.
  2. Digital Detox: The studio room is an electronic-free zone. Kindly store your phone in your locker.
  3. Respect those around you: We foster a vibrant community, but the studio room is a space for deep immersion. Please honor the journey of your fellow riders by reserving conversations for before or after class. However, we wholeheartedly encourage you to belt out the lyrics and 'woo!' along with the music!
  4. Stay for the Whole Ride: To respect the shared experience and fully benefit from your workout, we ask that you remain on your bike for the entire duration of the class, including the final stretch. Your instructor will cue the end of the session. Should you need to leave the room for an urgent reason (such as illness or dizziness), we request that you do not re-enter; kindly inform the front desk so we can ensure safety.
WHAT IS YOUR SALES AND REFUND POLICY? +

All sales of services are final. Services are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable. All services must be pre-paid; we do not accept cash.

Returns of retail merchandise must be made within 7 days of purchase for a full refund. For exchanges or account credit, returns must be made within 30 days of purchase.

Merchandise must be unwashed, unworn, or unused with original tags attached. Proof of payment is required. Hats and water bottles are considered final sale.

WHAT IF I FORGOT SOMETHING? +

Cycologie is not liable for lost or stolen property. We strongly recommend leaving valuables at home. Any items found will be held in lost and found for two weeks before being donated.

ARE CHILDREN ALLOWED IN THE STUDIO? +

For safety and liability reasons, children under 16 are not permitted in the studio area during class times.

ARE PETS ALLOWED IN THE STUDIO? +

We adore pets! However, for safety and to maintain the experience for all guests, we cannot allow pets to accompany you during class.

If you require a service animal, please email us at info@cycologie.ca. We may inquire about the specific task the animal has been trained to perform.

IS THERE A MINIMUM AGE TO TAKE CLASS? +

All clients must be at least 16 years old to participate in a class. Anyone under the age of 18 requires a signed waiver from their parent or guardian.

MEDICAL

CAN I TAKE A CYCOLOGIE CLASS IF I'M PREGNANT? +

There is nothing more exciting than growing our little family. Congratulations!

All of our instructors have been trained in basic pre/post-natal bike fit—please ask us to refit your bike! It is encouraged to take more breaks and to prioritize how you feel above all else. We recommend you consult with your doctor before joining us.

CAN I DO CYCOLOGIE TO RECOVER FROM AN INJURY? +

If you are recovering from an injury, we would not advise taking class until your doctor clears you to do so. When ready to return, reach out and we would be happy to provide you with class recommendations.

CY COINS REWARDS

WHAT ARE CY COINS? +

CY Coins is our loyalty program where you earn coins for booking classes, buying retail, and referring friends. Points may be redeemed for a variety of rewards, including complimentary classes, retail discounts, and more.

HOW DO I SIGN UP? +

You will automatically receive an invitation to enroll in the CY Coins Rewards Program after your first transaction that earns points with us.

Follow the link in the email to set up your account. You can also sign up at any time through the Cycologie app.

HOW DO I REDEEM MY POINTS? +

To redeem points, please use the Cycologie app and navigate to the Rewards section. Select the desired perk to generate a voucher, which you can then present at the front desk or email us a screenshot at info@cycologie.ca for redemption.

DO CY COINS EXPIRE? +

CY Coins are valid for 12 months from the date they are earned. Reward vouchers expire 30 days after they are redeemed. We encourage you to redeem and use your rewards in a timely manner.

CAN I EARN POINTS FOR ACTIVITIES COMPLETED BEFORE I SIGNED UP FOR CY COINS? +

Points only begin accumulating once you have enrolled in the CY Coins Rewards program.
